Shah Rukh Khan was last seen on the big screen in 2018 in Anand L. Rai’s Zero with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The actor took a long sabbatical from acting after that and continued to produce films under his banner, Red Chillies. But all this while, his fans continued to wait and speculate about his next project. Putting their misery to an end, SRK headed back to set for Pathan. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead.
Owing to the speculations, reports had earlier suggested that the film will release on Diwali this year. But the production house or actors gave no heads up to these rumours. Now, the latest on the film is that the filmmakers are looking at a later release as the film is still being shot. The film is likely to release in the first quarter of 2022 instead. Another YRF film that we will see on the big screen next year will be Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.
